The grade 8 craft class is enjoying a chance to make pocket heat packs for the coming cooler weather.  Students have first sewn a small 10cm x 10cm square cotton bag, using a simple running stitch,  which was then filled with dry rice.  Once complete, students chose a cotton fabric to cover their heat packs with before turning their hands to blanket stitch to create a decorative edge on the cover.
