End of Term Update: Essential Skills and Computing & the Internet

As Term 2 comes to a close, we’d like to acknowledge all students who have completed the Essential Skills and Computing and the Internet course. It’s been great to see students engaging with practical tasks and building foundational skills that will support future learning and employment.

A few final pieces of work are still outstanding, and we encourage students to use the holiday break to complete these so we can start Term 3 with a clean slate.

Coming Up: Community Service Learning

In Term 3, students will begin Community Service Learning, a subject designed to help them explore their local community while developing planning, organisational, and leadership skills.

As part of this subject, students will take part in work placements with local organisations. These placements will offer valuable insight into different jobs and industries, helping students understand how they can contribute to their community in meaningful ways.

We’re looking forward to seeing students take on new challenges and grow through real-world experiences.
